The prep work is just about done on the '34. The under dash panel has been refit, smoothed out, and all of the cut outs were filled and re-cut. As for the seats, they were completely disassembled cleaned, painted, reinforced and re-padded. I also added 5.5 inches of height to the head rest area, and these seats are now more comfortable than ever!

Here are some pics of the current project in the shop. This is a '34 Ford 3 window that has been done for several years and is due for an interior makeover. We started by stripping out the interior completely and applying FatMat sound dampening material. This week the seats are being overhauled and the fiberglass underdash panel is getting a facelift. Stay tuned for more progress pics.

It's a wrap!!! The '55 is done and on it's way back to California Dreamin Hotrods to have te finishing touches completed. This truck will be in the Cavalcade of Cars show at the Hamburg Fair Grounds in March. So if you are in the area come check it out.

Here's the '55 Chevy Pick up with the custom built center console installed. There are tow compartments in the console, one houses the ignition switch the other provides space for the air ride gauge/switch panel, a 12 volt outlet, an I-Pod cable, and some storage space. Oh.. and it's a good place to prop your arm on a long cruise.

Just a few more photos of the progress on the '55 Pickup! Carpet is installed and the back trim panel is finished. Seats are being upholstered now .

Progress on the '55 is a little slower than expected, but the finised product will be worth every minute. I was able to cover the headliner in one piece (a 62 sq/ft hide) of leather. Once the headliner was wrapped up I added the accent panel in the center to break it up a little bit. Also the door and kick panels are done and installed. Next is carpet end seats.

Just wanted to share some photos of the progress on the 1955 Chevy Pick up I'm currently working on. These door panels are made from scratch and feature hand made armrests, and one of a kind custom speaker grills. They are upholstered with a light brown distressed leather and the center insetr is covered with suede.

A 1957 Chevy Belair upholstered in two tone tan. This car features one off armrests to match the curve of the chrome accents on the doors. A '66 Galaxy donated the front bucket seats which were mounted to power tracks, re-padded, and re-upholstered. Custom kickpanels were used to house a pair of speakers, while the rest of the electronics live in the center console. Out back the stock chrome from a '57 four door was used to brighten up the trunk panels.

A blast from the past! These are some progress pics of a 23 T-Bucket I did a couple of years ago. I never got finished photos of the car, as the owner had to put the project on hold for a while. However the project has resumed and I should be able to get photos of the complete car soon.

Here's a look at a 1958 Belevedere I just finished. This interior was designed to look similar to the car in the movie "Christine".
When the car came in it was bare metal inside, even the seats were just raw springs.

Pictures of the movie car were supplied by the customer, and I took it from there.

This bike has a theme of "White Eagle". I covered the seat, saddle bags, mud flaps, and foot boads with white leather. Then I added latigo lace trim, embosses leather straps, Hand tooled leather eagle heads, and turquoise studs.

Here are a few pics of a limo bus I re-upholstered. This included re-shaping the front edge of the seat cushions and adding gray ostrich accents to the seat backrests. Also, I built the window valances. They are shaped to match the seat cushions and covered with black ostrich material and gray ostrich accents.

These are pictures of the finished products at the Cavalcade of Cars. The Roadster took an award for Best Open Hot Rod and The Model A was honored with Best Engineered Hot Rod.

Also the '29 model A sedan I trimmed last year was in the show and added an award to the list of many it has already won. Last but not least the black and white '50 ford from my previous post showed well and was honored with a peoples choice award. Overall I'd say it was a good year at the Cavalcade of Cars.

Here are the finished photos of the '50 Ford Tudor sedan, Ready for the Cavalcade of Cars. We added some chrome trim to the door and quater panels for a nice finishing touch.

Up next is the '30 model A which I'm about half way done with. Following that will be a Ford roadster that is custom from top to bottom and side to side.

Things have been busy around the shop. Here are a couple of my current projects:

a 1950 Ford Tudor sedan, and A 1930 Model A rumble seat coupe! Both will be shown at The Cavalcade of Cars in Hamburg N.Y. March 4-6, 2011. Stay tuned for the finished interiors, or better yet come see them at the show.

Here's a set of seats fro a 1970 Mustang custom covered in black and green vinyl. I added skulls and spider webs to compliment the cars paint scheme. The driver and passenger headrests have skulls integrated with black widow spiders. I will be upholstering the door panels and package tray to match very soon. stay tuned.

This is an installation of a kit interior for a 1966 GTO from Year One. The seats were already done when I got the car. I installed the headliner, door and inner quater panels, carpets and some speakers along with the package tray. These fit well and look great when professionally installed!

This is a custom chopper seat that I completely overhauled!
The original pan was too short in the back so it was extended.

Once the pan was taken care of the foam needed to be replaced and shaped better.

Then the custom upholstery was designed and stitched up.

Progress is good. Carpets are made and installed, dashboard is tightened up, seats are bolted in,

headliner is installed, and audio system sounds great. The door panels and rear panels are on their way!

Here are a couple of pictures of a 1929 model A Ford I finished about a mounth ago. This is a steel body car with new fenders and a steel center section in the roof . The Car Shop North took care of all body, mechanical, and electrical work (for those of you in Western New York and surrounding areas their phone # is 716-694-0888). Then the interior work was up to me. All of the trim panels were hand made and then upholstered. The rear seat is original Model A springs with custom padding and upholstery. Up front a pair of modified late '80's mustang seats were treated to some foam restyling and custom upholstery. I also worked in some custom door pockets and map pockets on the back of the front seats (storage space is very limited in a Model A). Some other features are passenger side kick panel and dash filler panel that were molded to cover the a/c unit. I am also very happy to announce that at the very first show this car was entered in, it was awarded BEST INTERIOR out of over 160 cars in attendance!

The latest project to come out of our shop is a custom interior in a '32 three window coupe.

There are flames all over this car! seats, door panles, and headliner. We also covered the dashboard to match, made custom carpet, and trimmed the trunk. From here our customer is going to put the body back on the frame and finish his wiring, gauges, and power windows.

Currently we are working on a bunch of other car interiors and motorcycle seats. So check back often to see whats new.

This is a tank bib for late model softails. There is a pouch for a cell phone, and it's made of synthetic cobra skin so it will withstand the weather.

For this customer I was able to cut his stock Softail seat in half to make a solo. Then I modified the mounting hardware so the p-pad could be put on or taken off with just one screw. The stock foam was reshaped for a low,slim look and then a custom cover was made to finish things off.

This seat is a complete custom. I formed the pan, shaped the foam and sthiched up the custom upholstery. The inlay is cobra skin material. The bike was built by ZZ Chops.

A great example of accessories I can make for your bike. This is a custom mud flap for an older Dyna. Its made of 10oz. tooling leather with a brass Harley badge. The leather was hand tooled and the dye was hand brushed for great color seperation.

Here is a custom set up for a Yamaha V-Star. The stock seat was re-shaped with gel added. Then the cover was re-made with two tone flame stitch and studed side skirts.

Here is a view of the Eden Chopper Clubs Anual bike build. For two years County Seats has been proud to help coach the Eden High School students in leather craft. Each year the students hand build a complete custom motor cycle,as part of their technology class. The bike is then taken to St.Paul Minn. to compete in the Donnie Smith Chopper Class Challenge . Here's a pic of my latest completed project. This was done for Gowanda Harley Davidson. The client wanted the seat upholstery to match their riding jacket. It was covered in genuine leather with gel insert.
